Back from Southeast Asia

DJ Zan and I just returned from our trip to Phuket, Thailand - Phnom Phen, Cambodia and Ho Chi Min City (Saigon), Vietnam.

It was a great trip that I call 'the war experience' since most of the tourism has been built around war from the nightclub scene to tours of the 'Killing Fields' and "Cu Chi Tunnels". Oddly, there was even opportunities to fire AK-47's and rocket launchers at shooting ranges.

More to come but I must catch up on a few weeks of work.

I'm pictured with baseball cap and 'DJ Zan' is the man (the black man). This was a restaurant we frequented in Phnom Phen Cambodia along the Mekong Riverwalk. The restaurant has an orphanage and all proceeds go to assisting the kids.

Zan is remarkable with children and young adults which is one of the reasons he is my first choice when a client needs an emcee for their child's Bar or Bat Mitzvah or grad night.

A new friend and an animal that represents good luck in Southeast Asia.

I'm hanging out with the lead DJ at the Tiger Bar in Phuket Thailand. Zan had befriended the crew the night before and they treated us well. Zan even mixed a set and 'pumped up' the crowd with his MC skills. I stayed behind-the-scenes since I was on vacation, baby!
