It would have been Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday today. I had a rare December Saturday night off with fellow DJ: David Jay... so... we attended a Frank Sinatra, Jr concert at The Saban in Beverly Hills, CA. The show featured a 36-piece orchestra!

I ran into a past wedding client. Tara works at The Wynn Las Vegas where I recently attended Sinatra 100: A Grammy Tribute at The Encore Theater.

The special honored Frank Sinatra with performances by:

Tony Bennett, Lady GaGa, Garth Brooks, Usher, Carrie Underwood, Seth McFarlane, John Legend, Katharine MacPhee, Adam Levine, Zac Brown and Celine Dion.

Also ran into fellow DJ, TV Producer and Fun dude: Bruce Barrios. We ran into Cee Lo Green and enjoyed his DJ set at the club.

Dancers doing "The Wobble" at Sara and Pat's Wedding with DJ Mark Peace Thomas

Sarah and Patrick's reception was held in Altadena. The couple enjoys country music, acoustic alternative and standards so when a guests asked for "The Wobble"... well I wasn't so sure. Of course, I am always happy to play requests if the newlyweds allow it and what I found was the first time EVERYONE on the floor knew how to "Wobble it"... "Wobble it"! Awesome couple, awesome family and awesome friends! I took this photograph and stylized it.

Special thanks to my assistant: Mike Brown since he also took many photographs at my request. The official photographer was only hired through the grand entrance and I happened to bring my Canon 7D camera with me, and coincidentally, Mike has experience as a photographer.
